Friday and Saturday August 29 and 30
Good morning.
We were able to get some fresh locally-grown veggies for this weekend, so we will have the store open today (Friday) from 12 - 4 (though Heidi and the kids are already out there setting up and will likely be there all day) as well as the usual Saturday 10 - 4 hours. We expect to be at the Cove Farmer's Market on Monday as well. We have...
Sunburst squash - beautiful scallop shape, bright yellow and green, cooks like yelow squash or zucchini
Beautiful, multicolor petite bell peppers - green, yellow, purple, orange, and red
Italian eggplant (the "normal" round dark purple kind)
Cucumbers - regular salad slicers and "burpless"
Petite yellow squash
sweet potatoes
Okra
All the above were grown locally and sustainably except the okra, sunburst squash, and sweet potatoes, which were conventionally grown.
Of course, we also have eggs, goat milk soap, organic expeller-pressed coconut oil, and local honey and spreads.
We are adding some more things in the next few weeks, so be looking forward to some Texas-made pepper products (salsas and relishes, some *really hot* and some not) and Celtic sea salt, which has no equal.

Hope to see you this weekend!
