Things are starting to perk up in the field!

Just thought we'd update you on what's planted and what's growing out at the farm.

Our replanted yellow squash and zucchini have started to put on their first fruits.  The black-eyed peas are producing, just not enough to sell quite yet.  We have flowers on our pumpkins and the bees have been having a field day with them.

There are more beans starting to come in, and our spinach, cabbage, lettuces, and the first of our greens are all sprouted!  We have planted some more herbs and the girls are planting a long strip of fall flowers.

We still have much more to plant.  More fall squash, broccoli, carrots, beets, radishes, turnips and onions.  The weather has been perfect lately, so we're trying to take advantage of it, and we're looking forward to having a good fall crop, Lord willing.

We'll be sure to keep you up-to-date.  I know we owe you some more pictures, just as soon as we get the time.  God bless!
