We're back!  The Thanksgiving break was really fantastic!  We spent a week with some close friends in north-central Missouri.  Warning - don't leave Texas, it gets *cold* other places!

After we got back from MO, we drove down to south Texas and picked up an order of fresh Texas citrus.  That wasn't so fantastic - the citrus is! but the trip took several hours longer than we'd planned and we ended up on the road from 0430 until Midnight.  Anyway, it was worth it, because we brought back 1200 pounds of conventional and 200 pounds of organic citrus.  The tangerines in particular are really good this year.  Macy hasn't stopped eating them for six days now!

We have also stocked up on fresh Cheyenne pecans from Schwegmann's orchard in Georgetown, the Alabu goat-milk soap, Mrs. MacArthur's pepper products, and Fain's honey.

WE WILL NOT BE AT THE STORE AGAIN THIS SATURDAY!!!

What we will be doing, instead, is we will have a booth at the Cove Krist Kindl Mart all weekend.  Heidi and/or the kids will be out there in downtown Cove from 4pm - 9pm on Friday evening, 9am - 9pm Saturday, and 9am - 3pm Sunday.  The Krist Kindl mart is a really great event.  It's a big arts and crafts type market, there's food, fun things for the kids, and over 100 vendors.  So be sure to come by!

We will not have any of our produce or eggs, because it's a holiday-themed market and we haven't yet convinced anyone to start a tradition of putting turnips in stockings.

But we'll have the citrus fruit in nice gift bags, as well as the pecans, soaps, salsas, and honeys.  Heidi is also putting together gift baskets with various assortments of those items in nice Christmas tins and such, with prices from $5 to $20 - SO STOP BY AND DO SOME CHRISTMAS SHOPPING!  I can't think of anywhere else where you can get someone a gift basket of certified organic citrus fruit and raw honey!

Next week, we'll be back at the store with the gift baskets, turnips, beets, radishes, salad mix, and baby greens!
