Update to Greeener Vision Farms this Weekend
Hey, everybody! I just got back from San Antonio, and Heidi just came in from the field, and there are a couple of updates to what we've got this weekend. I was not able to get any more corn this week, sorry, but I did get some Texas plums and some *really* good seedless watermelon from the valley. And our yellow squash and zucchini are coming in, so there will definitely be some of our sustainably grown pesticide-free squash available.
So the list I sent out early in the week is mostly correct, but here's a more accurate one:
From our field, all sustainably grown using organic practices, and fresh picked:
Turnips & greens
Swiss Chard
Radishes
Onions with greens
Bok Choi
Beets with greens
Herbs - sage, chives, rosemary, thyme, oregano, tarragon, lemon balm
Yellow squash
Zucchini
Also, fresh eggs, salsas, honey and spreads.
Compost for your garden
Conventionally grown, but fresh from Texas:
Tomatoes
Yellow Squash
zucchini
Cucumbers
Red potatoes
Sweet onions
Cantaloupes - small and medium
Blackberries
Peaches
Okra
Plums
Seedless watermelon - medium
See you soon!
